Do you know all of the opportunities Grace Church offers its parishioners as ways to get involved other than the Sunday morning services?  Join the Fellowship Committee, as we host a Ministry Expo on September 22nd during both Coffee Hours and learn about the many opportunities to serve in the next ministry season.  There will be tables set up in the Great Hall with leaders from every ministry of the church that can help you find a place to invest your gifts and talents in the life of someone else.  Find out how you can get involved, get to know others who have the same gifts as you, and serve the church in meaningful ways that fit who you already are.  Don’t miss this opportunity to find the perfect place for you to participate in what God is doing at our church!  Food will be provided by the ministries who are participating in the exposition.  We hope to see you for this wonderful opportunity to get more involved with Grace Episcopal Church.

ATTEND THE MINISTRY EXPO ON SEPTEMBER 22nd!

On Sunday, September 8th, we will gather at the home of Tom and Christine Stevens at 11:30 for the Second Annual Grace Church Picnic. This event is sponsored by the Fellowship Committee.

We had rave reviews from those who attended last year.  There was plenty of good food to eat, games to play, and wonderful conversations.  The Steven’s have also offered up their pool for swimming.  Parents, you are responsible for the safety of your own children while they are swimming. There will not be a life guard on duty.

This year the Fellowship committee will once again provide hamburgers, hotdogs, and veggie burgers.  Please bring sides and desserts to share with everyone.  Bring your own drinks and chairs.

Please contact Nancy Johnson,Teddi McIntosh or one of the Fellowship Committee members for more information.

We look forward to seeing everyone there!

Special thanks to the mountain of volunteers (21 total!!) who attended our June Laundry Love program.  We are especially grateful to Holly Daigle, director and operator of the Manchester Kona Ice truck, who worked with us to serve shave ice to our Laundry Love parishioners and parish volunteers this past June.

Remember, NO Laundry Love in July!  Our next opportunity to serve will be Tuesday, August 6th.  The Kona Ice truck will appear again that evening as well.

The Grace Book Group will be taking a Summer hiatus from monthly meetings. The group resume meetings on Tuesday, September 17.

The 2018 Grace Church Knitting Group retreat will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 9am to 3pm in the Great Hall at Grace Church. A simple lunch of soup and bread with a beverage will be served. This event is open to all crafters, not just knitters. Please join us for this annual gathering of fiber and fellowship at our own Grace Church.

We do ask all attendees to bring a finger food that can be shared by all.

Bring your handwork and show off your completed items! Bring yarn or needles you no longer want and it will find a new home on our swap table. Please contact Linda or Karen with questions. We can’t wait to see you there!!
