SPECIAL NOTICE TO COMMUNICANTS OF GRACE CHURCH:

OUR ANNUAL PARISH MEETING will be held on Sunday, January 26th, 2020, immediately following the 9 am service, in accordance with the by-laws of Grace Church, “to elect officers, other than the treasurer, and other vestry members to new and any unexpired terms, elect lay delegates and alternate lay delegates to the diocesan convention, receive the budget and reports and conduct such other business as may properly come before the meeting.” The following slate of officers will be presented for election at the meeting: Warden (3 year term) Christopher Messier; Vestry (3 year term): Kenneth Kjellander, Gail Schuman, Christopher Turner; (2 year term) Teddi McIntosh (to fill out unexpired term of Christopher Messier); Clerk (3 year term) Nancy Johnson; Delegate to Southern Convocation and Convention (2 year term) Edward Doyle. 

ELIGIBILITY OR VOTING: According to the Grace Church by-laws, in order to vote at the Annual Meeting you must have been a contributing member of Grace Church for at least 6 months.  It is difficult to rectify mistakes on the morning of the meeting.  The voting list is posted in the narthex and on the kiosk in the Great Hall.  If you think you are eligible to vote, please check to make sure your name is on the list.  If it is not, please notify Dwight Simmons 603-860-4024 or the church office no later than Sunday January 19.

ABSENTEE BALLOTS: As outlined in our parish by-laws, absentee ballots are available to those unable to attend our Annual Meeting on January 26th , 2020.  Those who will be out of the city or who, by reason of physical disability, or for any valid reason are unable to vote, may call or write to the church for an absentee ballot.  Your ballot will be mailed to you at least 3 days before the meeting.  You may request the ballot any time before then.  Please return your ballot, sealed in an envelope marked “BALLOT” on the outside and placed in a second sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the absent voter.

 BIOGRAPHIES OF THE CANDIDATES will be available on the table in the rear of the church.  

 THE ANNUAL REPORT will be available at the Annual Meeting. They will be forwarded via e-mail during the week prior to the meeting.  If you would like to receive a hard copy, please notify the office and one will be mailed to you.
